If you are resolving to volunteer in the New Year, the national non-profit organization Big Brothers Big Sisters is hoping you will step up to help kids on the Central Coast.
Like a lot of brothers, Arual Lopez and Jacob Gersh love throwing the football around. However, as you might guess from their differing last names, they are not related.
“I want to feel like how it is to have an older brother instead of having two younger siblings,” Lopez said. His mom got in touch with Big Brothers Big Sisters and soon Lopez met his new, big brother.
