Dining with a Purpose at Rooster Creek Tavern

San Luis Obispo County, CA – On May 21st, Rooster Creek Tavern in the Village of Arroyo Grande hosted Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County for their “Third Tuesday Dining with a Purpose” fundraiser. “Rooster Creek has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters in various ways since 2012. ‘The ‘Third Tuesday’ event is a win for everyone. It’s a wonderful opportunity to have a fabulous meal and give back to the community at the same time,” says Patty Carpenter, Big Brothers Big Sisters Development Director. “Rooster Creek’s support is helping to empower potential in the youth in SLO County.”

Mindy Calmenson, GM of Rooster Creek states, “Every month we choose one non-profit to raise money for and in May it was Big Brothers Big Sisters. Making the decision with many amazing non for profits out there, is not the easiest task but SLO Bigs sure makes it easy on us. They do so much for this community and for the kids that make up SLO County. We appreciate all they do and loved having them at our Third Tuesday Fundraiser.”
