Big Brother Phil and Little Brother Sal were matched in April 2020 and began activities online like building Legos, making brownies, playing trivia and more. But they both share a love of fishing and longed to be out on the water. To celebrate their 1^st Match-a-versary ( the anniversary of when they were initially matched), they finally were able to take their long-anticipated fishing trip. The water was calm, and the weather was great! Simon caught three fish and cooked them by himself that same evening! Phil says, “I like that Simon and I laugh a lot together. He always seems to be grateful and happy in the moment. I’ve learned that spending time with Sal is a recipe for a peaceful mind and happy heart.”
