WONDERING WHY YOU SHOULD GET INVOLVED?
Becoming a High School Big means you will spend one-on-one time with an elementary school child who needs a special friend; someone to shoot hoops with, do arts and crafts, or just talk. The commitment is minimal, just one hour a week after school during the school year. Enrolling as a Big Brother or Big Sister not only makes a BIG difference in the life of a child but also allows you to earn Community Service Credits at school, and letters of recommendation for jobs and college.
As a Little Brother or Little Sister, you will meet with a High School Big for one hour, once a week after school on school campus. Littles enrolled in our program show an increase in confidence, improve academically, and are less likely to use drugs and alcohol.
As always, BBBS Staff will be available each time your match meets to answer any questions and support your match in any way you need.

"I love being able to act like a kid again!"
"Seeing my Little bouncing into the room, ready to hang out is the best part of being a Big."
"It's so much fun!"
