Disco Bowl

Help support the children of San Luis Obispo County by sponsoring this growing event. There are opportunites to support this event by becoming a sponsor or by fundraising using our FirstGiving website. 

  
 

Bowl for Kids’ Sake is our annual thank-you-celebration for community members who group together in order to raise money and awareness for Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo. These groups transform into bowling teams on the day of the event, competing for points and style.  Over three hundred "bowlers" will dress in 1970's 'disco' inspired attire as they enjoy the "Disco Bowl" theme event Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Cal Poly Mustang Lanes.

Do you want to get involved and support Bowl for Kids' Sake? Follow these three easy steps:

1. Start a team! Teams are goups of five to six people and can include family, friends, co-workers, fraternity brothers or sorority sisters.
2. Start getting sponors! Each bowler is responsible for raising a minimum of $100 in sponsorships - a minimum of $600 per team.
3. Have fun bowling! After each bowler / team meets their sponsporships goals, it's time to have fun and bowl at the Bowl for Kids' Sake event. At the event each bowler will aslo get an event t-shirt and free pizza!

Last year’s event raised over $24,000. This year, our goal is to raise $30,000 for our youth mentoring programs and your contribution will greatly assist us in meeting this goal!

Donate a Raffle Prize

Do you own or know of a company/business that would like do donate a raffle item? This form has all of the information for donating a raffle items. Raffle prizes are won at the event and are awarded to those who raised the most money, best costume, best bowler, etc.

2013 Team Captain Information
