Big Event 2012 Results

Our 2012 BIG EVENT was a huge success! We raised an unprecedented $83,000 for our mentoring programs!

Event goers enjoyed the wonderful selection of silent and live auction items and the tasty treats our food, wine and beer sponsors donated to the event. The BIG EVENT was graciously hosted by Embassy Suites and their wonderful staff, and Auctioneer Todd Ventura, Emcee Jay Turner and the Cuesta Jazz Collective provided the entertainment.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County extends heartfelt thanks to our Sponsors, generous supporters, auction donors, guests and our hard working volunteers for making the BIG EVENT a resounding triumph! We thank our Business Partners: American Perspective Bank, Adamski Moroski Madden Cumberland & Green, Cannon Associates, Madonna Inn, Morgan Stanley, Promotion Plus, SLOCO Data & Printing, American General Media, New Times, Tolosa Press, Paso Robles Press, Atascadero News, TekTegrity, KSBY, Pacific Gas & Electric and 3C Wines. To our astounding Board of Directors, present and past - we are grateful for your continued support and your commitment to the youth in our county.

We are a volunteer and donor supported organization committed to helping vulnerable children succeed through one to one mentoring relationships. Our children and community will benefit from the generous donations by our guests, volunteers, business partners, sponsors and the contributions from individuals and businesses that provided auction items, food, beverages, décor, printed materials and logistical support.

Save the date for next year's Big Event on June 23, 2013!
